1-minute quickstart

Let’s cut to the chase and create your first test script in less than 1 minute.

1. Create a Skybear.NET account

To use private scripts you need to create a Skybear.NET account.

Just want to run something quickly?

If you just want to run a script, and have no need to save it into your account for referencing later, you can use our Open Editor at https://www.skybear.net/scripts/open-editor/.

No account creation or signup needed.

Scripts ran in the Open Editor are not persisted anywhere on the platform.

2. Create your script in 1-click

Once you are into the Skybear.NET dashboard, you can create a new script in 1-click.

Click the New script button at the top bar (just New if you are on a narrow screen), and we will automatically create a script for you pre-filled with a runnable example.

3. Run your script

Click the red button Run script to trigger a script run.

You will see the results of your test script at the right panel of the script (or below, if you are on a narrow screen like a mobile device).

Done.

Congratulations! 🥳 You just ran your first Skybear.NET script.🚀

Now you can go ahead and start testing your HTTP APIs.

The right panel of our script editor has a Learn by Example tab with examples of how to do many common things, and useful references to the Hurl docs for more advanced use-cases.
